The General Assembly of the Nainwak Association will take place on the 17th of December starting 9pm French time (CET, GMT+1). It will be held on the #assocnw channel of the IRC network netrusk (irc.netrusk.net). You are free to come, however, 1/ the language will be French, 2/ only I will have opportunity to vote for OGS.

I Expenses
A Dedicated server hosting

The migration to a new dedicated server, with enough performance to host all the games of Association Nainwak, allowed us to save € 40 every month, compared to the previous hosting contract.

The 1,644.26 € expenses for web hosting are splitted into :
- 1 month rent to the old hosting formula for hosting continuity during the migration.
- 18 months renting of the new server hosting.
- Migration and renewal of dns.

B Other Expenses

Banking charges for an amount of € 10.40.

C Miscellaneous

This year, Association Nainwak did not attend to a game show.
No equipment were purchased at all.

II Revenues
A Online Go Server (OGS)

Premium subscriptions are a total of € 1,199.77 for the period.
It is good to note the rate of renewal of subscriptions.

B Advertisements

Two bills have been sent to Adverline by Florent Masson (President of Association Nainwak) for a total of € 312.53.

C Donations

Donations, membership and renewals membership in Assoc' represent a total of € 99.93 for the period.
Some new members but very few membership renewal. (Many are not up to date of their contributions.)

Note: the current membership and renewal on the website of the assoc is somewhat complicated and may repel the less adventurous members, another solution should be studied.

D Goodies

No information on the Spreadshirt account, but normally no income.

E Sale of old Servers

To be reviewed.

III Association Nainwak's profitability

If the balance was in deficit of € 42.43 on the 25-11-2012, it was positive of € 3.92 on the 28-11.-2012.
Available cash of the association would pay the server for at least 8 years.

€ 1,000 were transferred from the paypal account to the postal account this year.

The OGS subscriptions that cover almost the server hosting, the saving following the migration of server hosting to a cheaper contract for similar or higher performance, as well as donations and advertising, allows to have a net income statement, which preserves the sustainability of the association.

The lack of general assembly report for 2011 has prevented the transition between treasurers which significantly complicated the task of accounting management.

- Postal account checking using internet.

You can manage your sessions (logins from various computers) on your profile page: http://www.online-go.com/profile.php

There, you can see the session data for your currently valid logins (ip, the browser type, and the domain - online-go.com, online-go.org, etc.), and can revoke those credentials (by clicking the 'X' on the left). The session used to open the profile page is highlighted in bold.

You can also direct your browser to destroy the session once you have closed your browser. On the login page, simply uncheck 'Remember me' when entering your username/password.

* Game messages can now be saved permanently. In addition, the location for the message box has been moved from above the board into the control panel. You can click on the "Messages" title there to expand/contract the messages. There is additionally a preference (http://www.online-go.com/preferences.php) for whether messages are by default permanent or transient.

* Game move emails are more detailed. Whether you are observing or playing, the email will give more information such as the name of the player who moved and the name of the board (i.e. Kuksu Title, Game 1).

* It is now possible to use arrow keys to cycle through past moves on the main board, just like in the 'analyze board' window. To enable this feature, select 'Yes' on the "Arrow keys control board movements in main view" preference: http://www.online-go.com/preferences.php

This change does [b]not[/b] affect the Main or Nines classes of any tournament.

This change will be transparent to the vast majority of users. It is targeted at players who are entered in a handicap tournament and become provisional, either through lack of play or losses due to timeouts.

It is in the best interest of all players in the handicap tournament for players' ranks to be accurate. Accurate ranks are the result of continued and consistent play. Timeout losses are easily avoidable by going on holiday: http://www.online-go.com/holiday.php

These notes are only visible to you and will never be sent to your opponent. You can use it to keep information about endgame moves, strategy ideas, etc.

To save a note, make sure to click "Update notes" below the text area. In addition, clicking "submit" to make a move will save the notes.

The move number is now a link to the board (in particular, it replaces the old [Open Board] link).

There was a bunch of server downtimes recently that are becoming more and more frequent. Those downtimes are due to failures of the air conditioning and electrical current stops. The installation in which the Nainwak servers are located is getting old (the UPSs are out, air conditioning stops sometimes, etc...). This place is free of charge (it's an french company that is hosting the servers for free) for the Nainwak Association and was a good deal while this company was putting a bit of interest in hosting non-profit organizations. However, a recent change in the management of the company made the situation more complex as the new boss doesn't want to support anymore non-profit organizations.

Therefore, the Nainwak Association is looking for new hosting solutions in order to discuss the possibilities at the general assembly in september.

If any of you have good ideas, please tell us.

I remind you that the association already owns the servers and that they are located in France.
